Rap was one of da bestest comedian minds ever. “…cook turkey using chicken…” LOL!! And “850 degrees for 1 minute and 5 degrees for 4 days…” Da current writers for NBC’s SNL could use a lesson from Rap in writing skit comedy….

Flamboyantly nondescript. :-}Massage da chicken. Rap was off the hook! I can watch his stuff over and over and still laugh out loud.

When I was a kid, one of my best friends was Hawaiian and her dad had one of Rap’s albums. I’ll always love him for turning me on to Rap’s comedy, and for breaking down da pidgin to me since I’m Mexican and had no idea what lau lau or a kanaka is. Learning a little pidgin came in real handy when I moved to Oahu in my 20s! I’d never seen the Auntie Marialani bit before – LOVE IT!!
