Honestly, I think parents just teaching their children in foresight is just as effective. I’m 16 and I was raised with no groundings, no
beatings, hits with belts, anything, and I think I turned out well. I’m respectful, I have culture, I’m educated and I volunteer for charity organizations. Maybe just bringing your kids up and showing them how to behave with example is just as effective. : / But I don’t know if the rest of my generation is as respectful or brought up as well as I was.
The Depression is going to look like an economic boom compared to what we’re in for soon. We’re going to need some recipes that include sawdust, lawn-clippings and human hair. Also learn how to cook with sunlight. Blessings, Clara!

Aren’t many vitamins wasted by discarding the potato skins? I would have thought in those days every scrap was critical!
